At Bindevævs-Akademiet we have specialized in connective tissue. We offer education in body therapy and courses that always focus on connective tissue.
You are welcome at Bindevævs-Akademiet without prior experience to gain insight into the magical world of connective tissue or to receive basic education in body therapy and massage. You are also welcome as an experienced practitioner who wishes to expand your skills with new and effective techniques.

The Three Training Programs
Connective Tissue Therapy
The comprehensive massage training in body therapy with focus on connective tissue, where you will learn to model body posture in balance, massage deep tensions, and help your clients with musculoskeletal problems. You will receive a thorough review of the body’s muscles and organs and insight into the body’s connection with emotions.

BodyMind Connective Tissue Massage
The intermediate education in connective tissue massage treatment, where you learn to treat the body in all layers with the effective technique that releases deep tensions without using much of your own energy. Here we go in-depth with the emotional aspects and sharpen the intuitive senses.

Connective Tissue Treatment FIRMing Qi and Aroma
The short training that nevertheless covers the entire neck, throat, and face area to address both dowager’s hump, headache issues, jaw tensions, stress, and wrinkles with the gentle, effective connective tissue touch. Here you will also be trained in our FIRMing Qi beauty treatment, which won the Danish Beauty Award prize in 2020.

Whether you choose the short, intermediate, or long education, you learn the unique treatment form that can release very deeply and effectively, and help the body back into balance, in such a gentle way that you protect your own body from strain.
RAB Registration
Both our long education in Connective Tissue Therapy and our medium-length education in BodyMind Connective Tissue Massage are RAB approved for basic education. The Connective Tissue Therapy education is also approved for clinical training and other complementary treatment.
The shorter educations can give you supplementary RAB points.

Beautifully Located in Old Nivå
Bindevævs-Akademiet is beautifully located in the historic town of Nivå. It is run by Katrine Wennerwald, who has also designed the training programs and serves as the primary instructor.
Katrine is a trained physiotherapist and in the Rolf Method. She has been treating with focus on connective tissue in her own practice since 2001.
